HP Envy x360 Compatibility with the HP MPP 1.51 Stylus

Hello, 

I own the HP Envy x360 convertible laptop that has a touchscreen as it can fold into a tablet. I purchased the HP MPP1.51 Stylus from the HP site to try to use with it and I cannot get it to work. 

I would really like to know if I am doing something wrong or if my laptop is for some reason not compatible. All of the research I did prior to purchasing the stylus led me to believe it would work with the HP envy models. 

I followed all of the set up instructions with the pen to try to get it to work but I can still having trouble.

I cannot find any evidence that this computer is compatible with any active stylus.

What?

I did not find a compatible pen for this computer model / series.

Yes, the pen is likely compatible with more than one "HP Envy" computer .

What? 

There are many computer models and only certain models are compatible with a pen - of those computers that support a pen, only certain pens work with certain models.

Unfortunately, in this case, the pen is simply not compatible with your computer.

If your computer has a touchscreen,

If an active stylus is not an option on your machine,

Consider a Passive Stylus / Pen

Capacitive / Passive pen is not the same thing as an active stylus, of course.

Passive pen works like your finger on the touchscreen.
