When I bought my HP Omen 15 ek0042tx, it had a screen flickering issue which was resolved by downloading and installing a softpaq file - sp112482 file. Now I have reset my laptop completely, and the issue has come back., and I can't seem to find the same file again. Can please anyone send me the link to the file. The link given online doesn't work.

Thanks for the context and image. The error message from the HP Firmware Utility – “The platform is not supported by this utility” – typically means the tool is checking for specific hardware (in this case, the panel/display model) and it's not detecting a match.
Update BIOS + Graphics Drivers First
Update your BIOS to the latest for the HP OMEN 15-ek0042tx from HP Support.
Update Intel Graphics and NVIDIA drivers directly from HP support.
OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0042tx Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
Then try running the tool again.
Run HP Support Assistant
Sometimes missing drivers, firmware dependencies, or outdated BIOS versions prevent the tool from running properly.
Download or launch HP Support Assistant: HP Support Assistant Download
Click Updates, then check for all recommended updates.
