HP Pavilion G6 switchable display driver problem

Hello,

I need your help with my laptop HP Pavilion G6 - 2050sc.

There is Intel CPU i7-3820qm and AMD GPU Radeon HD 7670m - 2GB. - driver 8.933.3.4000 for both / is it correct driver?/

Catalyst control centre is working and also there is an option to use high performance but the game is running only under Intel GPU.

How to fix this problem?

I have installed original OS Windows 7 64bit but the same result is in Windows 8.

BIOS version F.27 rev A

Where is it from ?
sometimes you have to use those only provided by the support, and there I only see this one

thank you for the reply.

driver 8.933.3.4000 - I found it on HP site as compatible driver for my laptop.

I tried to install 8.982.10.1600 but the catalyst cannot be started.

I do not know what to do... 😞

see the page I gave you, same series, and I haven't seen this driver, hence my question, where does it come from...
but if it is from another hp model, it might work just fine..
Uninstall everything, and try the newest one from the given page

now I understand:

driver 8.933.3.4000 - this one is for Win_7

driver 8.982.10.1600 - this is for Win_8

For this moment I have installed Windows 7 because the same problem I had with the switchable graphics in W8.

In both cases the catalyst is installed properly but during the game play it use Intel GPU always.

But I do not know why.

Sorry, you mentioned windows 8, I thought otherwise.

Hello,

I have tried to install last driver sp56458 - 8.941.1.0, but it also not works.

There is only Standard VGA Graphics adapter and the resolution is 800x600.

You can install a driver that does not come from this product page, but if it comes from the product page, it does not work..

Forget it, I don't see why I asked again, since you told me that you reinstalled windows 7, and this one is not available for windows 8 where I looked first..
I saw then that you only have two possible choices.

Although the graphics chip is mentioned, it would not be compatible, curious..
I found another driver, there are some differences, see if this one installs, I'm afraid it's difficult to find a newer compatible one..
