I have installed also driver 8.933.3.4000 Rev.A - without errors but the result is the same.
CCC is working and also I can set up whole settings but the High performacne is running always on Intel GPU.
Bellow you can see some photos:
that game has an option in the menu to test the performance, so you can see that is using Intel GPU with very low FPS...
My opinion is also that this issue with switchable graphics should be due to last bios update to F.27 Rev A.
I would try to rollback bios back to previous version just for the test and install again the OS and GPU drivers.
But I do not know what was the basic BIOS in this machine.
Could you help with this?

I'm not sure it's possible
You have a significant risk that it will go very badly, and in this case, the computer could be unusable
Unfortunately, I saw this type of problem way too long ago, and not too much recollection, of what worked.
Can this apply?
fixed mode

is this problem with all tested games?
check all this, and if you were able to install this drivers, maybe we can find newer ones..

If you mean change the mode in BIOS to fixed or dynamic there is no option to do this. I see in that attached document G6 laptop models which should update the bios to be able used fixed mode but my model is not listed there...
Regarding AMD gpu I have installed two different utilities ( cpu-z and furmark ) but they cannot recognize it. only Intel hd 4000.

It was in Y2016. I noticed spinning fan like a crazy and yellow triangle in device manager for amd driver. I reinstalled graphics driver from hp site and it looks good. ( I did not know that amd is not working because I did not play any game that time) for standard use it looks OK - I mean youtube, web browser or some tasks in MS Office.
Also in Y2016 the BIOS has been flashed to newest version F.27...

sorry, at a dead end
I find other subjects with the same problem, but the links given, for the pilots to be tested, or subjects in reference are broken
I read at one time that you could use a version from Amd, but no longer available from them

You are right, there is no chance to wake up AMD graphics. I found on AMD forum discussions regarding this problem and solution with leshcat drivers. I tried them and catalyst worked, but they are maybe not fully compatible. I mean noisy fan again, overheating of machine etc.
So the conclusion should be only rollback of BIOS to older version. Just try the factory settings / its my idea only 🙂 /

**bleep**, I thought the site no longer existed, and I hadn't found a discussion with this solution
I had it as a bookmark when I was on the French community, but I lost it
In any case, it surprises me, because it worked very well most of the time.
I would not tell you to try the return to a previous version of the bios, because, it is risky, and no certainty that it will solve the problem, I prefer to dissuade you from it
see if changing the power settings and other possibilities could fix this fan problem
another version of the tested driver maybe!?
