(If the test fails there is an issue with the hardware and you can skip the below troubleshooting steps)

Refer to the steps on this link to update the BIOS and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Make sure you keep only the charger plugged in while updating the BIOS for your PC.

Click on the + sign next to BIOS and then download the file.

Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Please install all the pending updates for the Windows operating system following the below steps.

go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for updates. If the upgrade is available for your device and you want to proceed, download and install it.

Hello Irwin,

I have already tested the below solutions and none of them worked. Laptop keyboard and touchpad works well in BIOS setting. I also tried to change the keypad with a local vendor and the new keypad also didn't responded.

The issue is with the Drivers only. As soon as the Windows 11 OS got loaded the Keyboard and Touchpad stop working.

I am looking for old keyboard/touchpad drivers which i can use and troubleshoot.

Hello Irvin,

I already tried restore and recovery options. The problem is always with the drivers. As soon as the Windows OS got loaded the Keyboard and Touchpad stops working. I am looking for old Keyboard/Touchpad drivers back to early Windows 10 or 7 which might can work but could not able to find over the internet.

Thanks,

Amit Singh
