Good afternoon!
My 6 month old Pavillion x360 was working perfectly fine for 6 months.
Last morning, when I pushed the power button, it simply did not power on.
I pluged it in, the orange battery LED flashed a few times and that was it.
Dead, black screen, no LED lights up and no fan spin.
I tried different PSU from other units we have at class, nothing.
So I checked my PSU on an other machine, works fine.
This means there is something wrong with the notebook.
After calling the HP support line, I was transfered to a call center in India? even when I said I'm from Germany.,,
I was told, to do a few button combos and try to remove the battery ( I know its sealed, I unscrewed it...).
No luck. I'm a computer science student , so please dont ask wheater I tried to reboot and stuff like that.
I would like to get it fiexed, what are my options?
The Germany consumer law promises 2y warranty, but HP only claims to offer 1? Whats the deal with that?
Best regards.
Edit:
The device has no physical damage, even with its terrible build quality.
The hinges are very worn and should be replaced as well but thats a whole new topic...
