HP Notebook - 14-cm0080au & HP S14

Hello!

I have an HP Notebook - 14-cm0080au laptop and HP S14 portable monitor. Could someone help me how to get this working? I have an USB type c to type a adapter, but every time I use them the portable monitor says "USC-C video: inactive" followed by "Input Signal Not Found. Check the video cable and source."

Thank you so much.

@HYLSVASO

The specs of your machine is

         https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06090586

It has  2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only) ports. They do NOT support video out therefore you can't use them for a monitor. You have to use HDMI port.

Regards.

Hello!

Thank you for the clarification. In that case, I need to purchase an HMDI to Type C Adapter?

Thanks.
