Hi TomPixel.
Thank you very much for your reply. I’m sorry I’m so slow to respond. I’ve only just found your message in my Junk folder.
How have you got on with your uninstalations? I’m really interested to find out how you did.
Many thanks.
Karen

I'm afraid we are just working around the issue for now by using the built-in HDMI port, rather than a USB hub. It's not ideal, but hopefully HP can address the root issue with a driver/firmware fix sometime soon.

I've a HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-df1 in combination with a HP docking station G2
Since September the 21 I've the same issue. The HP Docking Station G2 doesn't give a signal two the monitors.
The monitors work fine in combination with a separate computer and the displayport cables are also working.
I've gotten a new replacement Docking Station from HP, but the problems are still persistent. I also tried using a HP mini dock with VGA and HDMI output. This works fine in combination with a different laptop. This also doesn't work. I'm afraid that the problem is with the HP Spectre, the laptop. I think that the videodriver doesn't support the USBC output anymore. The HDMI port from the laptop works fine by te way.
I hope that HP is working on a permanent solution, because their telephone helpdesk is also clueless.

Good news…
The latest Intel® UHD Graphics 630 driver from Intel, version 27.20.100.8783 dated 9/24/2020, seems to solve the issue. I had 2 unsuccessful installations reporting “driver already installed” before it installed OK this morning.
I’m not sure if the NVida driver is relevant, but the version I have installed on my now fully functional PC/Docking combination is version 27.21.14.5638 dated 9/14/2020.

Hi again...
This morning I fixed this situation for a customer of mine. The Intel driver alone is not sufficient. You have to update the NVida driver. The NVida driver I use is the Nvida Studio Driver 456.38 dated 09/17/2020. First, I downloaded "Geforce Experience", and then I had to create an account at NVida to be able to download the actual driver. It's seriously annoying how NVida delivers drivers but that's how it is.
I don’t think you can do with the NVida driver alone. I had that one installed without a functional video over docking. It was with the Intel update this started working again.
Hope you are able to solve this with the information provided.

Hi,
I have had the same issue using the HDMI output from a TSUPY USBC docking system ( bought from amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07VK55Z97/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
and i installed both the latest Intel + Nvida drives you mentioned here but still no luck.
Anyone else in my case ?
My HP Spectre x360 15 is barely 2 months old and i still cannot use 2 monitors with it...
Thank you for your help
Samed
