HP EliteBook 860 16 inch G10 Notebook PC (6V8W4AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

External 4K monitor connected to G5 dock via display port cable. The same monitor and cable operated correctly with my old HP EliteBook and dock. Now intermittent drop-outs ~5 seconds of black screen are occurring with new USB-C G5 dock.

I tried to reply to a similar thread started in Feb this year but the thread was locked, so I created a new one.

@Prov_Eng

Sounds your computer is NOT fully compatible with the HP USB-C G5 dock. Page 24 of its manual does not mention HP USB-C  G5 dock at all.

@Banhein

According to https://support.hp.com/au-en/product/product-specs/model/27767206 the G5 dock is "Compatible with HP laptops, MacBook® computers, and other laptops.[2]".  So, I'm not sure which manual you are referring to - please provide a link.
