HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock
Microsoft Windows 11

The USB-C G5 Essential Dock has from what I hear compatibility issues. It will not connect any displays 1- HDMI or the 2- Display Ports. Yes, the HDMI works at the laptop directly the monitors which have HDMI and Display Ports. It will not charge the Laptop via the USB-C port. It does connect the USBs for the Printers, Sound and 2- 4TB HDD. Everything has been updated and the suggested drivers installed. looking to return the USB-C G5 unit, but checking here first.

This was a Web Build on HP URL. Note I also have Display Fusion licensed copy on laptop and it works well with the Laptop screen and 1 HDMI connected at the Laptop. Like I said nothing wrong at the Laptop HDMI just no signal from G5 HDMI or the 2 Display Ports.

Try a BIOS update on your system (we are on the basis that you have a newer HP laptop). The BIOS update I perform at the office include a USC-B firmware update. I've had a lot of success correcting the Display Port/HDMI anomaly via BIOS updates.
