Trying to set up Hello login says Camera not found?
Device manager says Camera is HP HD camera is working correctly.
Cannot use Zoom or Skype or login using face recognition.
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Community --
Your system must have an IR type camera to use with facial recognition login.
The specs say the IR camera is an optional purchase / feature in this series.

NOTE: Some models list the device as “camera”
Method - Check your computer to find the type of camera
Control Panel > icon view > Device Manager
Open Category Cameras
Look for an entry that includes “ IR ” as the type of camera
Method – Check Settings for “Windows Hello Face”
Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options
If Windows Hello is not available, you will see a message:
Windows Hello Face
This option is currently unavailable - click to learn more
Click to “Learn More” and see message:
We couldn’t find a camera compatible with Windows Hello Face
Partial Example -- Open Device Manager >> Open category for Cameras / Webcam
Check camera type

Thanks for the assist. MY camera is not IR, so no face recognition not all bad.
My real problem was that the shutter to protect the camera lens had been moved across. I wasn't aware there was a shutter I read one of the articles attached to your post, Now I know so alls good

Facial Rec is a nice feature. That said, we all managed to live for most of our lives without a camera in our face telling us to get closer, uncover the lens, increase the light, take off our headphones, remove our glasses... Smiling.
