Recently, my camera shutter key does not work. It's the only key that does not work anymore, and I have no idea what caused it to stop working.

It is stuck in the disabled setting, the indicator light is on and will not turn off. I can't enable my camera from settings either. When my keyboard goes to sleep and I press the camera kill key the keyboard does not light up, so for some reason the key is completely nonfunctional besides the indicator light. I have no idea what to do.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry, I understand that your HP notebook camera shutter key is not working correctly. This seems like a hardware issue with the physical key itself, To correct this issue your computer needs to be serviced. I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.
