Hey all, this is frustrating and I know there has to be an easy fix, I have two gals at the office with HP laptops, on is this HP17 I referenced. All our stations have Dell docking stations with the USB C connection to the laptop for charging and display. Other laptops plug in here with no issues, but this two HP units won't recognize the displays. Doesn't see either one. When you unplug the HP and plug in a Samsung, it works fine so the station isn't the issue. Is there a specific driver I need to download on the laptops so they will be compatible with the Dell docking stations? or do I need a HP docking station for these?? Thanks! the Model number of the HP laptop is 17-CN0694DS

The specs of your HP machine is
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c08770175
It ONLY has 1 hopeless USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
Regards.
