Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V8Z8AV)

My HP Victus Laptop is facing a major physical flaw near the right hinge of the display lid. The hinge area is tearing up the plastic lid, splitting it up into 2  different sections. I have attached photos of the problem below. More importantly, I am surprised that this issue came up a few months after my device got out of warranty (Expired 11-04-2023).  I am tagging this issue as important because the device display is potentially getting damaged every time I open or close the lid.

the brand but I am utterly shocked how this type of serious issue got slipped out of manufacturers' hands. Moreover, I have a hard time believing that this issue popped up exactly after my warranty expired! This makes me question if this was already a planned event by HP.

As per my judgement and evidence from other posts and replies, I am safely pointing out that this is an inbuilt issue with Victus, courtesy of the manufacturers of  HP. If tomorrow, my laptop display gets broken because of complications of this issue, HP will charge me huge sums of money, saying that I broke the screen and the device is out of warranty

 

I hope my message is heard and seen loud and clear through this post/ raised concern. I have done my duty of reporting an inherent flaw in your design of the laptop, due to which the hinge area is tearing up the plastic lid of the display, splitting it up into 2 different sections. I sincerely request to initiate a fix to my problem, replace or repair whatever component is responsible for this issue. This is an issue that came with this laptop and for that reason, I don't expect HP to charge me anything, More Importantly, if left unaddressed, my display will eventually get broken due to this hinge/lid casing problem and ultimately I have to suffer a huge loss.

I understand that this is a Hardware issue. However, the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. However, since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who would have an option to schedule a repair.
