I have HP Notebook - 15-bs179tx laptop

External ports
2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only); 1 USB 2.0; 1 HDMI; 1 RJ-45;

which have only one HDMI port so I connect my first monitor to that one

but I also want to connect another monitor but there is only one HDMI port in my laptop

I read many articles and watch many YouTube videos also search many products from amazon

finally I found that there is only 2 solution

1) use docking station (which is very expensive)

2) use cable convertor like usb to HDMI, usb to vga,etc.....

I like 2nd option, but I saw a answer in some forum

''the display will sometimes feel sluggish and/or reveal compression artifacts when large portions of the display area are changing at the same time''

but the thing is, I don't want to use 2nd monitor for gaming or video playing purpose.

I want to use for coding and displaying web pages or web surfing purposes. does it give blurry view of these things too?? is it noticeable in this type of use cases??

what's your opinion for this

Thank You

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)

I actually used the following port replicator which I bought A$70 on eBay
