I have a pavillion n201ax... as m video editor.. i need to connect source monitor (second monitor) to my laptop.. i hav tried a lot but its not detecting the external monitor... plz help me out 😞 my laptop has hdmi ... i hav connected hdmi to vga adapter to external monitor but its not connecting 😞 thanx

Thanks for getting back to me. I understand you are using a third party HDMI to VGA adapter.  I only support the HDMI port.  

Is there any why to try to connect to a device with HDMI to test the port. Or you can contact the adapter manufacter.

Does the monitor have a HDMI port? If not do you have a tv with HDMI? try to test you conform if the cable or video connection.

my second monitor has vga port.. my laptop has hdmi output, so i tried to connect with hdmi to vga adapter but second monitor is not connecting .. please help me out sir 😞 😞 as i'm video editor i need to work second monitor as source monitor..  😞 😞 i have tried all keys win+P and tried all option but second monitor is not connecting.. it shows no signal 😞
