I am trying to extend my laptop to a samsung monitor. I brought a type C input that has VGA port. I connected the VGA to the monitor and the other end to my laptop. However, my laptop's screen is not reflecting to my samsung monitor. Is there a particular cords that i need to connect the two

I Understand that your concern, Please note,
- VGA is Analog, USB-C is Digital: VGA uses an analog signal, while USB-C (via DisplayPort Alt Mode) sends a digital signal. you need an active adapter with built-in electronics to convert the digital signal to analog. Ensure you are using a quality, active adapter.
I hope this helps.
