I see. Considering that my laptop model came out soon after Windows 10, I would say that it is pretty unlikely that there would be compatibility issues with the OS. But it is obvious that there are some misconfiguration that causes this issue.
Do you think Microsoft might be able to assist regarding this issue?
I checked the reviews of my model and none of them mentioned anything regarding the pen being incompatible with Windows 10.

You can try reaching out to Microsoft and check, However, my support boundaries are limited regarding this issue. 

As we proved the functionality of the computer touchscreen and pen is working, hence, this is not something to do with a computer. 

Its compatibility issue with windows OS.

Work on it as per your convenience and keep me posted on the results.

Thank you, I'm relieved that this isn't some sort of a hardware problem. I will try to iron this out with Microsoft and if/when a solution is found, I will post it here for those who may have that problem.
