I have set a new color profile, produced with a hardware calibrator, as default, but every time, after reboot or sleep mode, it's being changed back to the HP Dreamcolor profile. Even so after (making a backup and) deleting the HP profile *.icm files. The Dreamcolor file is restored after reboot/sleep mode and that profile is set to default again.

How can I permanently set the new profile to default?

Well, for anyone who has the same issue, I found the solution:

Just turn off the "HP DreamColor Assistent" app.

Also deactivate the scheduled task that starts up the app.
