Hp Tilt Pen
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Alright, So I brought a HP Envy X360,15-b1051nr is the product number. I was getting into drawing comics but using my finger was awkward, so I brought a HP Tilt Pen in order to draw. It connects fine via Bluetooth, and the pen works on the laptop. The main problem I have is that it is sort of inverted? When I write on the bottom right corner, it goes into the top left corner which is not what it is supposed to do. When I write up it goes down yada yada. Please help me fix this, i really want to draw comics.

just realized how unspecific I was, the pen is way off where it is supposed to be. I can see the cursor and where it is is almost the opposite of where I am putting the pen down. I tired to calibrate it just sort of predicting where it would land, but it is still way off afterwards. I downloaded some drivers? But these are only for the tilt pen. Maybe it has to do something with my screen being replaced? I am not sure but can I please get some help;

Hi @estevan-mosso

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the pen issue.

Let's try these steps to update the computer -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

If the issue still persists, re-install the touchscreen drivers -

1) In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
2) Expand the Human Interface Devices heading.
3) The touchscreen device is labeled HID-compliant touch screen, or similar. Right-click the touch screen device and select Uninstall.

4) Confirm the uninstallation.
5) Restart the computer to reinstall the touchscreen driver.

Try these steps to configure the pen input -

1) In Windows, search for and open Calibrate the screen for pen and touch input.
2) On the Display tab, click Setup.

3) Click Pen input
4) Follow the on-screen directions and check if this helps you fix the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Appreciate you trying the steps.

I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
