I recently purchased the HP Victus model fa1082wm, and I am having the problem that I cannot adjust the brightness of the screen, I've tried to change it from settings, I've tried to see if it was a battery problem but it's not, the brightness just doesn't change

If you're unable to adjust the screen brightness of your HP Victus, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Check Keyboard Shortcuts:
- Often laptops have keyboard shortcuts to adjust brightness. Look for keys with brightness icons, usually represented by a sun or light bulb symbol.
Update Graphics Drivers:
- An outdated graphics driver can cause issues with brightness adjustment.
- You can update the graphics drivers by visiting the official HP support website or using Windows Device Manager:
- Right-click the Start button.
- Select Device Manager.
- Click on Display adapters.
- Right-click your graphics card and select Update driver.
Power Settings:
- Ensure that power settings aren't affecting brightness adjustment.
- Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options. Look for any settings related to brightness adjustment and make sure they are appropriately configured.
Windows Updates:
- Ensure that your Windows OS is up-to-date, as updates can provide fixes for such problems.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and check for updates.
