HP Spectre x360 - 13-aw0013dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Spectre x360 integrated camera stopped working.  I  need  a compatible driver for the camera to work.  Please advise.

Fixing Camera Issue on HP Spectre x360 - 13-aw0013dx

  1. Check the Camera Privacy Switch
    • Located on the right side of the laptop.
    • Make sure it’s turned on to enable the camera (slide to the opposite position if it's off).
       
  2. Update or Reinstall the Camera Driver
  3. Check Windows Camera Privacy Settings
    • Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera.
    • Ensure camera access is allowed for the device and apps.
       
  4. Reference the User Manual
    • 📘 User Guide — see pages 4–5 for switch location and details.

The camera is back and working.
