Pavilion 15-cw1140ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Community,

one more ore less simple question concerning the HP Pavilion 15-cw1140ng:

Ist it possible -  in general - to connect 2 external Displays (for example 1x VGA, 1xHDMI) via USB 3.0 Docking Station?

If yes, which specification for the Docking Station is neccessary?

The USB-C Port doesn't support it as far as I know.

Thank you in anvance

Best regards

Simon

@Turbinchen2000 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to connect 2 external displays.

I have checked that your model has an HDMI port.

You can purchase the HDMI splitter in this regard.

Dear Praveen196,

thank you for your reply. Yes, I want to connect 2 external Displays but I also want to split the main screen on the two Displays.

I wrote with your WhatsApp support in the meantime. There I was told, that this machine is only able to support one external Display via HDMI.

So - if buy the HDMI splitter - will I be able to split the screen on two external Displays or can I only duplicate the main screen on two Displays?

Best regards

Thank you for the reply. The question is if the single HDMI output from the Notebook is able to split (not duplicate) the Display on two Monitors with the suggested cable. Best regards,  Simon
