Product: hp 15 laptop pc
Hi i recently received a laptop for christmas and I am having issues with downloading items and putting them on my start up menu and desktop. When I click on the item to open it, it will not open. Im not sure what Im doing wrong. Thank you.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Does it happen with only a few apps or with all the app? Are you referring to creating an app shortcut on the desktop?
- Are you getting any error message while accessing the app?
- Are you downloading the app from Microsoft store?
