SOLVED!!  :generic:

I have finally managed to get to the native resolution:

I am using the following adapter:
Display Port to DVI Dual Link Active Adapter Converter, powered by USB, that sup`ports ressolutions up to 2560x1600 @ 60 Hz, from "Club 3D B.V." :

https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B005IKC2VC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And then a Dual Link DVI 24+1 cable, as it's the only input accepted by the LP3065:

https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B00JKHMF9S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The cost for the first one was 120€, the DVI -DVI costs less than 8€

It works both from the PC DisplayPort and from the Docking Station.

Thanks to all who tried to help!

Hi, I also got my HP LP3065 working with 2560x1600 resolution with laptop PC without DVI connector.

My solution is CAC-1010 ACTIVE adapter, which is much easier to find than CAC-1051 mentioned in message above.

My hardware is Thinkpad X280 + Dock station + CAC-1010 + DVI Dual Link cable

Works great!
