HP Laptop - 15-dw2026nj

My laptop doesn't recognize an external monitor. 

I have done the following:

  1. Tried three different monitors.
  2. Verified that the monitors all work with other computers, either laptop or desktop.
  3. checked that the monitors are on when testing if they can be recognized.
  4. Tried plugging them into either type c, USB OR HDMI ports.

I go to settings - display - detect and get the message that an external monitor isn't detected.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps. I see that it did not help. 

 

I recommend you contact phone support as this unit might need service.
