Anyone got any ideas how to fix this issue I have please?
When i connect my docking station to my HP Elitebook 830 G5 via the USB-C port my laptop freezes.
When i disconnect docking station everything is normal again with laptop.
If I connect my USB Memory Stick to USB-C port eveything is fine.
Sometimes i will get a display on my 2 external monitors via docking station but very rarely, even at this, when laptop goes to sleep and i wake the laptop up it freezes again.
Tried uninstalling Intel drivers to no avail, same issue after reinstall.
Read that installing Intel driver 25.20.100.6472 fixed issue for some users but cant seem to find this driver and its approx 3 years old now.

What is your docking station ? Is it compatible with your machine ? I know for sure your machine is filly compatible with HP USB-C G5 dock.
Regards.

Hi Banhien,
Thanks for the quick reply, i have the HP USB-C G5 dock and a VVB dock (cheaper dock).
Both worked fine up until an update then after that i have experienced the same issue with both docks.
I have 2 other HP Elitebooks within the household, 745 G5 & 830 G7, both of them seem to be fine with both docks.
745 G5 has AMD and 830 G7 is Intel.
