THE COLOR FADED AND TEXT IS NOT VEERY CLEAR. iS THERE ANY WAY I CHECK TO SEE IF THE MONITOR CAN BE RESET 

OR IS IT ON THE WAY OUT.

The product number provided by you is not providing any information at my end. Request you to help me with the correct product number for accurate troubleshooting steps.

You can refer to the below article for general troubleshooting steps. 

Chromebook does not start, refer to this article.

Resetting Chromebook, refer to this article (this will wipe out everything on the Chromebook)

 

Please reply with the product number for further assistance.

Prob solved by my son. He went into settings and clicked on additional and searched selections and found a check on

a video contrast setting--he removed the check and the video cleared up.
