@Solvin, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're trying to connect your HP Spectre x360 - 15-df1043dx to an HP monitor, but you're seeing the message:
"Input signal not found. Check the video cable or the video source."
Let’s walk through some steps to get this resolved.

Check the Physical Connection

  • Your Spectre x360 supports HDMI and USB-C with DisplayPort.
  • Make sure:
    • The cable is securely connected to both the laptop and the monitor.
    • The monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source (HDMI or DisplayPort).
    • Try using a different cable or different port if available.

Use the Correct Display Mode

  • Press Windows + P on your keyboard.
  • Select one of the following:
    • Duplicate – to mirror your laptop screen.
    • Extend – to use the monitor as an extended display.
    • Second screen only – to use only the external monitor.

Update Graphics Drivers

  • Go to Device Manager > Display adapters.
  • Right-click your graphics card (Intel or NVIDIA) and select Update driver.
  • Or download the latest drivers from the HP Drivers & Software page.

Try a Different Port or Adapter

  • If you're using a USB-C to HDMI adapter, ensure it supports video output (some USB-C ports are power-only).
  • Try another adapter or port if available.

Check Monitor Functionality

  • Test the monitor with another device (like another laptop or desktop) to confirm it’s working properly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
