I have laptop omen of my friend and it’s not starting when I push the start button the fans kick on and nothing on display only the power button is red… I tried go to bios with F10 I tried ESC I tried win+b I tried win+v as I have non removable battery I tried external monitor I tried waiting for tens of minutes I tried switching off and on several times I tried hard reset several time all I got was once I got into windows no more from then once I got into bios which seems to be in Francis or Spain not sure and it always froze on me once I got to the cmos battery reset from then still nothing tried every combination on keyboard and tried to search google and hp support etc etc.. if anyone has some advice please let me know I am hope less 😓

 

from the windows interface it seems it’s win8+ I guess it’s windows 10 and it’s omen 15-dc0015nc

intel core i5 8th gen + gtx gpu

And once it went to bios update but froze on 2% I left it for 20minutes and nothing so I did force shutdown as it didn’t response to any input except the power button

I see that you are facing booting issues with your Omen 15-dc0015nc.

 

I suggest that you run an extensive system test by following the steps listed below:
1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. 
3. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
4. From the main menu, click System Test and then click on Extensive Test.
5. Click Run once.
