OMEN 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop PC 17-db0000 (9A9W1AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I own an HP Omen 17-db0005ns, which is currently experiencing a persistent issue with the dedicated NVIDIA RTX 4060 GPU. The specific problem is:

nvlddmkm error, Event ID 153, accompanied by screen flickering, graphical instability, and system crashes when using the dedicated GPU.

I have tried multiple solutions, including:

- Clean installations of both Windows 10 and 11 on two different SSDs

- Complete driver uninstallation using DDU and reinstalling various versions of NVIDIA drivers (latest and older)

- Full driver updates using tools such as DriverEasy

Despite all these efforts, the problem persists. The issue disappears when the dedicated GPU is disabled, and the integrated GPU works flawlessly.

Based on this, I believe this is a hardware-level failure in the GPU or its connection to the motherboard. The laptop is still under warranty, and I kindly request a repair or replacement.

The laptop currently has the original factory SSD as well as an additional SSD that I installed myself. The operating system is installed on the new SSD. Please confirm if I can send the laptop with both drives installed, or if I should remove the additional SSD before sending it in.

Thank you for your support. I look forward to your guidance on how to proceed.
