Product: HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13-bd0000 (172M7AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Dear All,
Would you be able to help with this issue?
I am using Win 11 on my ENVY x360 Convertible. Once the screen goes black for any of the following reasons:
- Closing the lid, even if action is set to 'Do nothing'
- Auto screen off after X minutes
- Windows to Sleep
then I am unable to recover and turn the screen back on. I tried the following:
- move mouse
- press any key, incl. ctrl+alt+del, power key
- close and then open lid
- touch the screen
The only way I found was to hard reset the computer by long-pressing the Power key. Once the LED goes dark then I can do a normal boot and everything is fine until the screen goes black for any of the reasons mentioned above.
Thank you very much in advance,
Attila
