Hello,
I just got my new spectre. I am having some display issues and am trying to find the optimal settings for uding the UHD display. I am using the HP reccomended Dock with the two external monitors connected via Display port.
- Title bars on some programs display 3 times as large as they should.
- When connecting to 1920p to 1080p Monitors there is some inconsistency in Window Sizes of Applications. Also the adjustment from 3180 x2160 to 1920x1080 is rather unpleasant.

Hi tekfranz,
Yeah Windows has a hard time with scaling on high-resolution displays. Do the scaling inconsistencies occur even after signing out? It should be fine after you sign out or restart.
What are the Recommended resolutions and display scaling under Settings > System > Display?
Awaiting your response,

The reccomended display settings are 3840 x 2160 at 250% Scaling.
I used to have the Delll 30 inch ultrasharp which was 2560 x 1600 but I suppose because of its lower DPI and bigger size it did not have these issues.
And it's OK except for a couple odd-ball programs like Google Chrome, teamViewer & remote desktop.
One work-around I found is that if I use the Windows Store equivalent of an app it scales nicely.
I found this article as well which explained why the UHD displays struggle with Windows:

I wish the handoff to my 1920 x1080's monitors was smoother. The application Windows balloon gigantically and then resize to the correct size.
Maybe i should just turn the resolution and scaling down to something more normal. Just like the crispness of everything at 3840 x2160.
