Exact same question that was asked around this time last year: How can I pair the Slim Pen with my notebook? - HP Support Community - 8600108
I got a new HP Probook that came with a HP Slim Pen stylus (HP Slim Rechargeable Pen) - Thing charges fine in the dock (red led comes on very briefly then white solid light comes on) - but getting no love at all from the thing once you take it out.
I thought maybe it just needed charge. After leaving the thing on charge for 6 hours, still same result. Have tried doing the normal Bluetooth synch, pressing and holding the buttons to try to get it somehow into "pairing mode". Thing seems dead as a doornail when not in the charging dock.
Specifically bought this laptop for my son who wants a stylus for some art subjects he is doing this year - pretty disappointing experience so far...
EDIT:
Laptop spec is HP Pro x360 435 13.3 Inch G9 Notebook PC.
Currently running Windows 11 Pro (21H2)
HP Support assistant has applied all the most recent drivers (including BIOS updates etc).

Thanks for releasing it, not sure why it comes up as spam.
Have finished running all the updates - no change to the original listed problem. Am going to have to follow up with localised support. I can't even find a basic usage guide for the Pen - would appreciate any help from any official channel or the community on how on earth this pen is supposed to work.
