Namaste 🙂 (That's the extent of my knowledge in Hindi/Sanskrit)
Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I Understand the screen flickers while playing games,
To provide an accurate solution, I'll need you to help me with a few more details:
Is there any specific game that causes the issue? or is all the games?
Are these games compatible with the hardware on your PC?
When was the last time it worked without these issues? did you try a system restore?
If the issue occurs at random times, did you try connecting an external/alternate monitor to your computer and see if the issue persists?
I understand that's a lot of questions, but just like a doctor needs to know symptoms, A tech needs the information too before I can help you.
Although, in the meantime, I recommend you try the below steps and let me know how it goes:
- Go to Start Menu > click on Settings.
- Type performance > choose to Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.
- In the new window, go to the Visual Effects and select Adjust for best performance.
- click Apply and ok...this should do the trick.

I also faced same flickering problem. So I almost reset my computer 3 times and now found the problem, it was due to flash player. I used play AOE in game ranger which requires Adobe flash player NPAPI. All the 3 times the problem ocurred after installing that flash player. Now I uninstalled it and my laptop working great. But the sad news I cant play my favourite game anymore with my lap. Hope HP and Adobe jointly resove this problem and I can play my favourite game again 🙂
