Hello Kuroi_Kenshi,
Since you ask me I also need some suggestions. If I use the USB port of my laptop to drive the DPport I have no other C port for downloading large files. You mention a powered Cport hub to be used in such cases. Can you please recommend a powered HP C port hub along with the recommended power source if it is not built into the hub. I could buy it in the HP stores
Thank you

@tj423, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you so much for posting your query! My colleague is currently out, but don't worry – I’ll be taking over and making sure we get this sorted for you.
For your requirement of additional USB-C ports while driving a DisplayPort, HP offers various hubs that can complement your setup. One such hub that you can consider is the HP USB-C Travel Hub G2.
Features of HP USB-C Travel Hub G2
- Offers multiple connectivity options: HDMI, VGA, Ethernet, and USB-A.
- USB-C Power Delivery pass-through up to 90W.
- Ideal for connecting to monitors, projectors, laptops, and peripherals.
Power Source Recommendation:
The HP USB-C Travel Hub G2 supports power pass-through via USB-C, but it requires a separate USB-C charger for optimal performance. It’s recommended to use the HP 90W USB-C Power Adapter for maximum efficiency.
I truly hope these steps help get things back on track. If you have any questions or need any further clarification, just let me know – I’m happy to guide you through it and make sure everything works perfectly.
Take care, and I hope you have an amazing day ahead! 😊
Problem solved? 🎉 That’s fantastic! If you could mark this as the Accepted Solution, it would help others find their way here faster. And if you found this helpful, a simple ‘yes’ would mean a lot – it makes my day and gives this reply a little street cred! 🏅
