HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-g103dx (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-g103dx (ENERGY STAR) laptop. I get an error message about PowerDVD player not working when I try to play a DVD. Per the tips, I have uninstalled and resinstalled a few times with no avail. Anyone know how to get this to work without having to pay for a new DVD App.

What is the error message ? There are many free software players around, you can use the following player for free. It can play nearly all video formats

For the first time, you need to open disc

and set it as default, next time, it will play for you automatically.

Thanks. This play has loaded successfully. The error message I was getting said "PowerDVD.exe is not working. Then it would ask for your email address and if you wanted to send a report.

Where did you get it from ? You may have to pay to get it if using a wrong source. Please use
