Update: my 15" Spectre x360 started working after about 10 minutes. Screen just came on all of a sudden

Same problem, new power  pavilion laptop cb040nd.

A temporary fix is resetting to factory settings.

Unfortunately windows update is mandatory in windows 10 so it will return.

Mine does too but that defeats the purpose of paying for speed and reliability

I haven't tested it yet. 

 

 

It's quite an issue that targets hp devices only.  Hope they will fix it soon.

i got this Solution from HP chat Support Expert :

This might be due to new windows Update

 

Hope new Updates make things fine

 

Steps  

1. Win + 4

2. hit msconfig

3. go to services 

4. disable app readiness

5. Restart
