Spectre x360 black screen after windows login

Thank you - this advice worked for me.

I had previously changed setting to sleep mode whe the top was closed so I did not have to wait for 20 minutes for Windows to load.

The issue was blank screen after login, cursor and task manager only working. 

2 week old Spectre X360

My TEMPORARY fix is to create a text file (c:\temp\progress.bat) that has in it:

@echo off

net stop appreadiness

net start appreadiness

exit

I've then use task scheduler to run the batch file (with highest privileges) each time the user logs on.  It's almost seamless but for the black box when the command runs.  I'll stop this task when a fix comes out.

Me 2 hundred sixty five thousand. My screen just came up after a couple restarts, sweaty palms, f bombs, and a Xanax. Will it do this every time??

Same EXACT issue for me! Currently staring at a black screen and got mine around 2 weeks ago- this is ridiculous lol. Was it fixeable or is this going to be a recurring issue?
