My daughter got an Envy x360 15m-dr1012dx for Christmas and want to know if there is a stylus that will work with this model. I have seen conflicting answers, apparently HP says it is not compatible with a stylus but others seem to indicate it is. Looking for a clear answer and if it is compatible, what makes/models would work with it. Thanks!

Please check the following compatible list to select a right one.
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05166879
If your machine is not on the list, come back later for more updates or it may not support active stylus at all.
Regards.

That's the link I already found, it isn't on there but others show it does work with a stylus. Don't know why a 2-in-1 type laptop wouldn't work with a stylus. If this laptop doesn't, don't know that I would have bought it. HP should make it clear if the laptop doesn't support an active stylus.

I'm on the same boat. I've seen other models from the same line coming with a stylus. HP and all of them should list the actual pen technology implemented in the device (e.g., N-Trig) so the users could then figure out if and what pens are compatible. HP doesn't even mention the touch screen on this particular model's specs official description.

My daughter ended up getting the Wacom - Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus for Windows Ink, 2nd generation at Best Buy ($49.99) and it works with this laptop. Amazing that HP doesn't publish compatibility for this model.
