Hello
I just ordered HP Pavilion x360 14-dh1003dx (7UT48UA)
Now I want to get a stylus for it. And I'm wondering which one to choose
As far as I understand, there are two options:
HP Pen (Microsoft) 1MR94AA - seems like it supports 1024 levels of pressure and no tilt
HP Tilt Pen (Microsoft) 2MY21AA - this one should support tilt and 4096 pressure sensitivity
Obviously, the latter seems better, but will my screen support tilt and all those 4096 levels?
If you know other styluses that might work, please let me know

@muperang I did some digging and ideally, if your device supports an active stylus or pen, it would show up on the HP Maintenance and service guide: click here to check, if it does not mention anything about it, that may mean that the device only supports passive stylus and here's all you need to know about it:
- A passive stylus (also known as capacitive stylus) functions the same as your finger on the screen.
- Passive styluses do not require batteries, and they work on any touch screen device.
Good news for you, your device supports an active stylus:
Active Stylus Pen:
Part number: 910942-001
you may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.

Thanks for your reply!
I already knew that it supports active pen, There used to be a page with nice tables, but now I can access it only via web archive https://web.archive.org/web/20200401111429/https://uat.support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05166879
Quite strange that it's not on the officiai site anymore and customers have to do their "own researches".
Back to the topic. My main question was "Will the screen support 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and pen tilt?". I planned to draw on this one, so this information is very important for me. I actually had to postpone my order because of that uncertainty.
Other companies provide pdf files where you can clearly see that info for each model, but not HP.
Can you give me the full list of HP laptops that support 4096 levels of sensitivity and pen tilt?

@muperang That's because that website link has been taken down to update the list, that said, I'm afraid we don't have that level of details, and if you need more information on the same, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:
1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,
here's how private messages work: Click here for details.
If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.

I've cancelled the order because of this. So I don't have any serial numbers.
You are basically saying "the one has to buy the device and only after that he is able to learn its full specifications". And he can't just open the manual, he has to contact support team. That's quite strange.
Pressure sensitivity and tilt support isn't somenthing very technical or hard to provide. I'm sorry that I have to talk about other manufacturers, but look how it's done http://prntscr.com/ti9d5i
I really want to buy a HP laptop. Maybe even different model, but I don't wanna buy a cat in the sack. Thanks for understanding!
