Hi, I have an HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14 12th gen. The year I got it was the year it came out. I have been using it without any problems since then until I think it was around May this year, when my touchscreen functionalities stopped working. this was around the time when I was updating Bios. I have been in contact with hp and Microsoft customer services but no avail. I have tried every possibility solution there is but nothing has worked. my final hope and solution was to reset everything and start as a new laptop but did not work either. I have honestly lost hope and one of the reasons I bought it was so I can use the touch screen for signatures and drawing so this just hits everything I hoped for. Unfortunately I once went to the HP nearby office and they said in my region they do not deal with hp laptops like mine since they said its a premium line, they said they only take care of the common notebook laptops. so I honestly do not know what else to do. I am at a crossroads. if there is any, any solution at all please help. note that I have tried all common solutions like uninstalling touch screen from device manager, calibrating even going to bios etc. literally every common solution there is. and the funny thing is that every time I run a diagnosis of touch screen it says it works fine.

Hi @Irwin6 I already did all these steps months ago & nothing worked. however I found the problem. after you gave me a suggestion to go to trouble shooting touchscreen issues. when I took my time into reading everything gently I decided to just manually re install the touch screen drive. so it finally started working. I also did this today. so thank you.
