Hi
I'd appreciate it if someone can confirm which active stylus works with the HP Envy x360 15z-bq100 CTO notebook for use with Windows Ink. The HP support website doesn't list this model with the available HP stylus range even though there are similar HP Envy notebooks that cost more which come with an included active stylus - however, the stylus model isn't listed on the HP website or shop in order for me to purchase the stylus separately.
All help much appreciated,
Thanks.

Finally got an answer. Your Envy x360 15z-bq100 uses same pen/stylus on the list as the Envy x360 15-bq0xx series. That list should be udated soon to Envy x360 15-bqxxx series.

Your model isn't listed though the Envy x360 15-bq0xx series is. It may be a matter of it not being added to the list yet-or it may be that it doesn't have the digitizer in screen to work with active pen/stylus and can only use passive pen/stylus.
I will try to find out. Keep in mind that "find out" may take a day or two.

I made an inquiry about whether it is compatible and might be added to the list. No answer so i assume it is a "no".

Many thanks Cheryl for that update on the active stylus, I'll look into purchasing the HP Pen once the UK online shop for HP has re-stocked.
As for any one else who has queries about the same model of laptop as mine, a passive stylus also works with the touchscreen but obviously with limited functionality as expected when compared to an active one.

You're very welcome. Your model can use HP Pen (Microsoft) or HP Tilt Pen (Microsoft). Fwiw, posters have also reported that Microsoft Surface pens work on models using this protocol.
