HP 15-bw025ur
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In the description of the utility ( Hp system event utility) it is written that after its installation, the Fn + Esc key combination (information about the system) should work. I downloaded and installed the utility - when I press Fn + Esc, nothing happens. What's the matter?

the xx is techspeak for (don't care) characters that may be replaced with anything.

The model name give in the product information is accurate enough to find the notebook series and get support and drivers.

As an example, my HP product loan notebook for 2018 uses the product name HP Spectre x360 15-ch0xx, but it is part of the HP Spectre x360-15t-ch000 CTO series notebook.

Use the Product number that you see in the system information window to more easily find accurate information on your notebook.

If I search with 1ZK18EA product number, I find the HP 15-bw025ur product name.

I know it all seems strange, but naming conventions are something every large manufacturer has for their products.

Sorry, please, I'm mistaken, it works.

Then another question: why the name of the model is not reflected completely?

xx instead of the correct ending of 25ur.

And the serial number is reflected correctly.

That key combination should work while logged into Windows without installing any utility.

It has been in firmware since sometime around 2012.

Hold down the Fn key and tap the Esc key.

Sometimes it takes a little extra time for it to invoke the System Information window.

Thank you! I did not answer, there was a new question, please help me find a solution.

Yes, without installing the utility, nothing works, no matter how much you hold. Only after installing the program.
