The built-in display is apparently not calibrated correctly - the white color has a yellowish tint. Disabling the profile in "color management" improved the situation a bit, but still can't see the real white color in any way. Maybe there is another calibration profile for such a case?

Thank you, but this step will be one of the first to pass - it doesn’t help, white is still not white.
