My touchpad isn't responding due to an issue with its drivers. I have tried restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, updating the drivers and even going to the HP support site to install new ones, nothing has worked and the only information I get is that it is a code 10.

@Crimson_Down, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Run the Troubleshooter:
Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
Click Run next to Hardware and Devices and follow the steps.
Check Device Manager:
Press Windows + X, select Device Manager.
Right-click your touchpad under Mice and other pointing devices, and select Uninstall device.
Restart your laptop, and Windows should reinstall the driver.
Update Drivers with HP Support Assistant:
Open HP Support Assistant.
Go to Updates and check for touchpad driver updates.
Check BIOS Settings:
Restart your laptop, press ESC or F10 to enter BIOS.
Ensure the touchpad or internal pointing device is enabled.
Save and exit.
Check for Windows Updates:
Go to Settings > Windows Update, and click Check for updates.
Test with an External Mouse:
Try using a USB mouse. If it works, it confirms the issue is with the touchpad.
