The touchpad is not working at all and I have tried hard resetting but that did not work. If you know a way to fix it, please tell me.

Hi@asdf33,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Chromebook Touchpad is not working.

I have a few recommendations

  • When you log back in, hit the keyboard combo, Search + Shift + P to toggle off the Touchpad. Or, if you want to disable the touchscreen, use the keyboard combo Search + Shift + T.
  • Turn off your Chromebook.
  • Press and hold Refresh Refresh + tap Power Shut down.
  • When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh Refresh.
  • Try using an alternate USB Mouse and check if it works.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
