Product: HP EliteBook x360 1030 G4 Notebook PC
Dear HP Support,
I am experiencing issues with the touchscreen and touchpad buttons on my HP EliteBook X360 1030 G4 (Windows 11 version 23H2 64-bit). The touchscreen and touchpad buttons have stopped responding, although the touchpad itself and keyboard are working properly.
Steps I have already taken include:
- Restarting the laptop.
- Updating and reinstalling the HID-compliant touch screen driver.
- Installing the Wacom AES Digitizer Driver and the Synaptics Mouse Driver from the HP support website.
- Running HP PC Hardware Diagnostics, which did not resolve the issue.
- Updating the BIOS to the latest version.
Despite these efforts, the problem persists. Could you please assist me with the following:
- Interpreting the results from the hardware diagnostics.
- Confirming if there are any other specific drivers I should install.
- Advising if there might be a firmware issue.
- Providing further troubleshooting steps or settings I might have missed.
- Clarifying the service options available for potential hardware repair or replacement.
Thank you for your assistance.
