Hi,
I am trying to burn some videos to a blu-ray disc, but I wonder if my laptop can read blu-ray? It doesn’t have the internal disc but I bought an external drive. When I inserted the blu-ray in the external drive, nothing showed up in my computer at all.

Well it might help if you state the make and model of the external drive. Not only does the external drive need to be capable of Blu-Ray read/write but the computer needs software for that purpose. What software are you using?
