Unable to connect external monitor via USB Type-C

HP Recommended
Pavilion 14-ce2500sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Both monitors work fine, both HDMI cables work. I have a USB-C dongle which connects my USB devices but will not connect the monitor by the HDMI port it has.

Appreciate any help or advice,

Many thanks
